Why Future Think

Artificial intelligence and the urgent need to transition to green and sustainable economies are redesigning our world of work, and expanding (not diminishing) opportunities at a very fast rate.  The future of work is notoriously difficult to predict but the likes of Gartner believe that AI solutions will create 500 million net new human jobs globally over the next 10 years.  Skills shortages abound and are likely to get worse.  That is why there is a greater focus now on skills based hiring and companies are prepared to hire from a much broader talent pool than before.

Many in the Caribbean diaspora are uniquely well positioned to benefit from the tremendous opportunities ahead but have restricted access to high quality jobs information, and do not have the know-how, capability and confidence to upskill and reskill in high value ways.   This is where Future think steps in.

Our work is made possible through the generosity of a number of philanthropists with a passion for fair and inclusive societies.
